Kalininskaya NPP

The plant is located in the northern part of Tver region, in 125 km from the city of Tver. The NPP is located 330 km away from Moscow and 400 km from St. Petersburg. The NPP resides on the southern bank of the lake Udomlya, occupying the total territory of 287.37 hectares.

Kalinin Nuclear Power Plant constitutes a part of the Integrated Power System of the Central Region of Russia.

Leningradskaya NPP

The Leningradskaya NPP is located nearby Saint Petersburg in Sosnovy Bor city of the Leningradskaya oblast.

Over the past almost 30 years of operation the NPP generated as large as 700 kW/h of electricity - the first in Europe and the third in the world value of electricity generation at the nuclear power plant.

Kurskaya NPP

The Kurskaya NPP is located in Kurchatov city of the Kurskaya oblast.

Novovoronezhskaya NPP

The Novovoronezhskaya NPP is located in Novovoronezh city of the Voronezhskaya oblast.

The Novovoronezhskaya NPP is the first nuclear plant of Russia, where VVER-type reactor units were constructed and commissioned. At present, five reactor units are operational at the site.

Balakovskaya NPP

The Balakovskaya NPP is located in the Saratov oblast and is the largest nuclear plant operational in Russia. At present the site operates four VVER-type reactor units of 1000 MW each. Besides, the second line runs two units of 1000 MW each.

Beloyarskaya NPP

The Beloyarskaya NPP is the only nuclear plant, where various types of reactor units are operational. The site nowadays exploits a unit BN-600 - the first fast neutron reactor ever commissioned worldwide (i.e. in 1980).

Kolskaya NPP

The Kolskaya NPP is located in the Polyarny Zory city of the Murmanskaya oblast.

The nuclear power plant supplies electricity to industrial enterprises positioned at the Kolskaya peninsula (e.g. Kovdorskyi GOK, Severonikel, Apatit, etc.).

Bilibinskaya NPP

The Bilibinskaya NPP is located in the Chukotskyi region (far east of Russia).

Volgodonskaya NPP

The Volgodonskaya NPP is located in the Rostovskaya oblast. It is a fairly new site with only one reactor unit operational since December of 2001.
