The State Corporation Rosatom and Atom-Innovation Center invite you to join and participate in the Conference and Exhibition “AtomMed-2008” 

The previous “AtomMed – 2007” Conference held in November, 2007 showed a substantial success and interest among Russian nuclear medicine stakeholders. As a matter of fact, more than 450 participants from as large as 60 organizations, federal agencies, companies, research institutes of Russian Federation attended the event. The following topical areas were highlighted: “Equipment for nuclear and radiation medicine (technologies for diagnostics and therapy)”, “Radiopharmaceutical and isotopes for medicine”, “Rontgenology”, “Therapy”,  “Cardiology”, “Diagnostic and medical equipment”.The “AtomMed” Conference will be arranged in the form of a one-day business arrangement and run with the two concurrent parts: an exhibition of best nuclear medicine technology solutions and equipment, and a workshop with panel sessions on nuclear and radiation medicine system, radiation sterilization, isotope production and application in medicine, laser medicine.

The Exhibition will demonstrate the most up-to-date solutions and emerging technologies to be provided by organizations, facilities and private companies operating both in the Russian and global markets. The following areas of the nuclear and radiation medicine will be covered: nuclear imaging systems (PET-CT, SPECT, MRI), nuclear medicine, radiation sterilization technologies for medical purposes, laser medicine, superconductivity in medicine, cryogenic medicine. 

The principal focus of the Workshop is a discussion of the issues of latest trends and achievements in the field of nuclear and radiation medicine. Invited panelists from Russian authorities, Russian and foreign Radiological and Medical Sciences Research Centers, Nuclear Medical Centers, companies and facilities will discuss such the vital issues of nuclear and radiation medicine as:

• Systems of nuclear and radiation medicine: federal and regional aspects of program development;
• Radiation sterilization: needs, challenges and opportunities;
• Nuclear medical centers: achievements, challenges and opportunities.
