Iran has received another shipment of nuclear fuel from Russia for use at its Bushehr NPP

Iran has received another shipment of nuclear fuel from Russia for use at its Bushehr nuclear power plant, the Arabic-language al Alam channel quoted an official as saying Wednesday.
"The shipments were transferred to Iran from Russia by plane in three phases on May 4, 8 and 10," spokesman for Iran's Atomic Energy Organization Hamid Khadem Ghaemi told al Alam state channel. He said 30 metric tons of fuel had been received.

State Duma has ratified an agreement with Turkey in nuclear industry

According to ER.RU correspondent’s report, on April 22, State Duma ratified an agreement between the Russian Federation government and the government of Turkey on collaboration in the field of nuclear power use in peaceful purposes. As was noted by Ruslan Kondratov, a member of State Duma Committee for Foreign Affairs, the agreement was aimed at renewal of the legal foundation of scientific, technical and economic collaboration between Russia and Turkey in the field of nuclear power use in peaceful purposes.
